Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.

Open Access and Licensing Policy

The Journal of Animal Rights Law (JARL) is a diamond open access journal. All articles are published with immediate open access: readers can access, read, and download content free of charge. The journal charges no submission fees and no article processing charges (no APCs).

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), which permits sharing and adaptation for any purpose, provided appropriate credit is given and any changes are indicated.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright in their work. Authors grant the JARL a non-exclusive licence to publish the article and to identify itself as the original publisher.
