About the Journal

Launched in 2024, the Journal of Animal Rights Law is the first legal journal dedicated to advancing animal rights law through the dissemination and discussion of cutting-edge research in this field.

Our objective is to foster the knowledge and study of fundamental rights for non-human animals, enhance comprehension of the legal and ethical issues surrounding non-human animals, facilitate constructive and interdisciplinary dialogue, and stimulate innovative legal approaches and scholarship on animal rights. We are committed to the vision of a world in which all sentient beings enjoy legal rights.
